Rescuers found the body of a 45-year-old woman carried away by the current in the Postyshevka River in the vicinity of the city of Partizansk. This was announced on Sunday, May 4, by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Primorsky Territory.
"Yesterday morning (May 3. A 45-year—old woman was swept away by the current of the Postyshevka River while trying to ford it," the agency said in a Telegram post.
The body was found on the same day in the evening 800 m downstream, it was handed over to the police.
Earlier, on April 20, it was reported that a boy born in 2014 slipped and fell into the Belaya River near the village of Nikel in the Maikop district of Adygea. The child's father tried to save him, but he failed. Search activities are currently underway.
