The military of the Russian Armed Forces told about the liberation of the village of Gornal in the Kursk region

The military personnel of the North group of forces told the details of the operation to liberate the village of Gornal in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region. The corresponding video was published by the Russian Ministry of Defense on Sunday, May 4.

It is specified that the last settlement in the region, which was under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), was liberated on April 26.

In the footage, you can see the work of military units of the 382nd separate Marine Battalion of the 810th Separate Guards Marine Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet and the 1427th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the North group of forces.

According to the military department, engineering infrastructure of defensive structures, including trenches, dugouts and anti-tank barriers, was deployed very close to the Furnace of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, due to their high level of training and professionalism, the Russian military overcame the obstacles.

"Samples of captured weapons are presented, a huge amount of ammunition and weapons of various types were taken. We have selected several samples to show the full range of international bastards who tried to trample on our sacred Kursk land. <..> Let's start with the basic, German-made assault rifle, 2024 issue. That is, such weapons are not given to some kind of rigged and other mobilized horsemen caught on the streets. It is given to trained professionals who, with these weapons, with German weapons, have re—entered our Russian sacred Land," said a marine of the Black Sea Fleet with the call sign Boatswain.

According to the Russian president, conditions have now appeared for further successful actions by our troops in other sectors of the front.

Earlier, on April 29, an officer of the North group of forces with the call sign Vityaz said that during the liberation of the village of Gornal, soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) were able to seize captured weapons from NATO countries. It is specified that they were obtained by soldiers of the 22nd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 72nd Division of the 44th Army Corps.
