The crew of the D-20 cannon destroyed the sabotage group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region

The crew of the D-20 gun of the Dnepr group of forces destroyed a sabotage group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which was hiding at a temporary deployment point on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region. This was announced on May 4 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"The crew of the D-20 cannon, which was on combat duty, received intelligence with the exact coordinates of the detected enemy, and moved to a previously prepared firing position. The first shot of the cannon hit the enemy's temporary deployment point in one of the abandoned buildings on the right bank of the Dnieper River. The second, according to the previously discovered coordinates, was the destruction of the Ukrainian Armed Forces sabotage group," the ministry said.

It is specified that the Ukrainian military were discovered during a planned reconnaissance of the area using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). At the same time, the gunners hit all the marked targets with minimal ammunition consumption.

"The calculation has a lot of destroyed enemy military installations on its account: points of temporary deployment of AFU personnel, locations of calculations and UAV launches, positions of M777 howitzers," the Defense Ministry noted.

Earlier, on May 3, in the Sumy region, the Russian Guard destroyed a camouflaged infantry fighting vehicle (BMP) M-2 Bradley of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The ministry noted that Russian drone operators hit camouflaged Ukrainian equipment with the help of shock FPV drones.
