MP Sheremet called Rubio's words about Ukraine's borders a "sober look"

Mikhail Sheremet, a State Duma deputy from the Crimean region, on Saturday, May 3, called US Secretary of State Marco Rubio's statement about the Ukrainian borders a "sober look."
Rubio said on Fox News that Ukraine would not be able to move the Russian Federation back to where it was in 2014.
"Rubio is right <...> And no matter what [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky says, there can be no question of Ukraine returning to the borders of 1991. This is all a bluff, and the United States is well aware of it," Sheremet said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Russia, as the deputy noted, does not trade its territories.
On April 25, Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko made concessions to Russia on territories in order to end the conflict. According to him, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky may have to make a "painful decision."
Prior to that, on April 24, it was reported that Germany, Britain and France were trying to find ways to push the Kiev regime to make territorial concessions to resolve the conflict in Ukraine due to concerns about a possible US withdrawal from the negotiation process. However, it is not specified which territories are in question.
