A man in a Nazi uniform with a grenade was detained in Zaporizhia


In Zaporizhia, a man was detained walking around the city in a Nazi uniform and with a grenade in his hands. This was reported on May 3 by the Ukrainian edition "Страна.иа ".
Law enforcement officers also searched the detainee's apartment. There was an arsenal of a grenade launcher with ammunition, an anti-personnel mine, a machine gun, six grenades and about 400 rounds of ammunition of various calibers.
Regarding the Nazi uniform, the man said he bought it "as a joke."
A German order from the Second World War with Nazi symbols was also found in his home.
Currently, the man is detained as a suspect in illegal handling of weapons and ammunition. According to the Criminal Code of Ukraine, he could face up to seven years in prison. He will be detained during the investigation.
On April 30, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted the impossibility of the Russian Federation not responding to the revival of Nazism in Ukraine. The press secretary of the Russian president stressed that Ukraine turned out to be a country where the "germs of Nazism" began to germinate faster than in other European countries. According to the Kremlin's official representative, Western states turn a blind eye to the revival of Nazism on Ukrainian territory.
