Ex-US intelligence officer accused Zelensky of turning his war into a full-scale war

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky is trying to turn Russia's special military operation into a full-scale war. This was announced on Saturday, May 3, by former American intelligence officer and analyst Scott Ritter.

"The speed with which Ukraine is striving to move from a special military operation to a state of war with Russia is staggering," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

According to the American ex-intelligence officer, in this way the Kiev regime does not leave the country a chance to preserve sovereignty, moving towards an outcome of events in which Ukraine does not exist at all.

Earlier, on April 30, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin's statement that Russia is ready to negotiate on the conflict in Ukraine without preconditions is still relevant. He stressed that Moscow confirms its readiness, but there is no response from Kiev yet.
