In the Bolivian department of Beni, five people spent more than two days on the roof of a small plane after the crash. This was reported on May 3 by the eju TV channel.

"Five passengers of the Cessna 170 CP-1099 aircraft were rescued after being missing for more than 48 hours. Among the survivors is a five—year-old boy, whose relatives rented a plane to take him to the hospital because he was in poor health," the publication says.

A group of fishermen helped rescue the passengers, who traveled to the crash site all night. The plane crashed in a swampy area with thickets inhabited by vipers and lizards.

Subsequently, the survivors were handed over to the Bolivian rescuers, who observed the fishermen's actions from the air.

"On Friday, May 2, the survivors arrived in Trinidad, the capital of Beni, aboard a FAB Eco Charly helicopter and were immediately taken to the hospital," the TV channel said.

The beginning of the search for a passenger plane missing in the Amazon region in Bolivia, with five people on board, was reported on May 2.

Earlier, on April 26, a small plane crashed in White County, Tennessee, killing three people. The plane that crashed was a Mooney M20TN model (Mooney Airplane Company's single-engine piston aircraft).
