McLaren driver Norris wins the sprint at the Miami Grand Prix of the Formula 1 Championship

British McLaren driver Lando Norris has won the sprint race of the sixth stage of the Formula 1 championship, the Miami Grand Prix. The competition was held on May 3 in the USA.

Norris' teammate Oscar Piastri finished second (+0.672), while Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton, a seven-time world champion, took third place (+1,073).

The qualification will also take place later on May 3. The Grand Prix series race itself will take place on Sunday, May 4, at 23:00 Moscow time.

In March, Norris won the first stage of the Formula 1 World Championship in Australia. Then the reigning world champion Max Verstappen from the Red Bull team finished second, and Mercedes driver George Russell rounded out the top three.
