At least 95 apartments damaged in Novorossiysk as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack

As a result of the night attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Novorossiysk, at least 95 apartments were damaged. This was announced on May 3 by the mayor of the city Andrey Kravchenko.

"Apartment—by-apartment searches of houses affected by the massive attack of the Kiev regime are continuing. <...> There is no damage to infrastructure and residential buildings in the Novorossiysk and Primorsky inner-city districts," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to Kravchenko, windows were broken in 22 apartments in the Eastern district, and 31 apartments in the Central District were damaged.

In addition, 42 apartments were damaged in an apartment building on Suvorovskaya Street, two of which were completely destroyed, and in the other two the explosion hit the walls and property of residents, the mayor said.

As Kravchenko stressed, at the moment there is no need to open temporary accommodation facilities.

Earlier that day, it became known about the repulse of an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Novorossiysk. They were destroyed with the help of air defense systems. As a result of the attacks by Ukrainian militants, five people were injured, including two children. After the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack, an emergency regime was introduced in the city.
