The head of the ROSSETI Group checked the progress of restoration work in the Moscow region after large-scale bad weather

Andrey Ryumin, CEO of ROSSETI, inspected the progress of emergency recovery operations in the Moscow region after a powerful cyclone with record snowfall and squally winds. This was reported in the company's press service.

"The power engineers of the ROSSETI Group have faced one of the most powerful impacts of the elements on the grid complex of the Moscow region over the past ten years. Immediately after the initial assessment of the strength of the cyclone and the consequences for the grid complex, on my instructions, 185 additional power engineers from other companies of the ROSSETI group with more than 50 units of special equipment were sent to the Moscow region," Ryumin said following the results of the operational headquarters, during which he heard reports on the results of work to restore electricity supply to consumers as soon as possible..

Since the morning of May 2, additional teams of power engineers from Nizhny Novgorod, Ryazan, Tambov, Lipetsk, Bryansk, Smolensk, Kaluga, Tula, Oryol and other regions have arrived in the region.

Also, according to the head of the company, almost 70 backup power sources were involved. Due to this, all socially significant facilities receive electricity in full and operate normally. Since the beginning of bad weather, the course of restoration work has been under constant control of the management of the parent company of the network holding.

Ryumin also instructed the responsible managers to continue mobilizing ROSSETI's forces and resources to restore damaged power facilities as soon as possible and create the most reliable power supply schemes for consumers. At the moment, electricity supply has been restored to residents of more than 550 settlements in the Moscow region.

The work is carried out around the clock, non-stop, the head of Rosseti emphasized.
