In St. Petersburg, two workers were injured as a result of the collapse of a balcony slab. This was reported on May 3 by a source of Izvestia.
They show that the balcony slab has almost completely fallen off. It is noted that two industrial climbers were injured, one of the men suffered a concussion, and the second, presumably, had a broken arm.
At the same time, according to the administration of the Petrogradsky district of St. Petersburg, waterproofing work was carried out on the balcony.
The Main Investigative Department (GSU) of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the city reported that a preliminary investigation was being conducted into the incident under Article 216 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of safety rules during construction or other work).
Earlier that day in Barnaul, a five-year-old girl fell from a balcony on the fifth floor. It is specified that the child was hospitalized with injuries of varying severity. Upon the incident, a check was launched on the grounds of a crime under Article 118 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing serious harm to health by negligence").
