Olympic 100m medalist Fred Curley was arrested in Miami for punching his ex-girlfriend and athlete Alisha Johnson in the face. This was reported by the BBC on May 3.

According to the material, the quarrel occurred at a hotel in Denmark Beach before Curley was supposed to take part in the second stage of the Grand Slam athletics tournament.

It is noted that the 29-year-old athlete was charged with "assault with violence or a blow." In addition, he left the police station on bail of $1 thousand.

At the same time, Curley's lawyer said that the case would be dismissed through summary procedure.

On January 4, the athlete was already arrested for a conflict with the police in the United States. It was clarified that Curley refused to move his car from the parking lot, and then began to show aggression towards police officers.
