Cadets of the Hero of Russia Vladimir Zhogi Republican Center for Unmanned Systems (RCBS) have passed exams on drone control. This was reported on May 3 by a correspondent of Izvestia.

It is noted that in order to hand over the drone to the cadets, it is carefully checked for the operation of all systems.

"During the exam, several elements are worked out. Now the "eights", then a dive directly at the target, which is simulated by the masknet. It most of all resembles an object that needs to be destroyed," said correspondent Alexander Safiulin.

Cadets need to get a drone strike into a small hole in the masknet, which simulates a window. The whole process is supervised by an instructor.

"I'm watching from the drone's perspective. For example, how well the pilot uses his side vision. We have two vertical sidelines that the pilot must constantly keep an eye on. Otherwise, the entrance to the turn is incorrect," explained the soldier with the call sign Napalm.

On March 27, the Ministry of Defense announced that a course on the use of drones had appeared in the program of higher educational institutions of the Russian Navy. All cadets study the design and characteristics of various types of drones and their use. In the future, they will master the combat use of attack drones to destroy enemy UAVs, unmanned boats and saboteurs.
