Russian military destroyed Storm Shadow and Neptune-MD missiles in the Black Sea

The Russian military destroyed the Storm Shadow and Neptune-MD missiles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) above the Black Sea. This was announced on May 3 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"Eight Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles and three Ukrainian Neptune—MD guided missiles were destroyed over the Black Sea," the Telegram channel said.

The ministry added that 14 Ukrainian unmanned enemy boats were also hit. In addition, the air defense forces shot down 170 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones over the regions of the Russian Federation overnight.

The new weapons are machine guns or submachine guns mounted on special turrets.

The day before, air defense systems intercepted two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the airspace of the Bryansk region. In addition, 10 Ukrainian unmanned boats and one US-made Willard speedboat were destroyed in the Black Sea at night and in the morning of the same day.
