A goal and an assist from Russian forward Alexei Toropchenko helped St. Louis beat Winnipeg in the National Hockey League playoffs. The meeting took place on the night of May 3.

Brayden Schenn, Nathan Walker, Cam Fowler and Philippe Broberg also scored goals for the winners. Russian striker Vladislav Namestnikov scored an assist for Winnipeg.

Thus, St. Louis evened the score in the series to four wins – 3:3. The decisive meeting for reaching the second round of the Stanley Cup will be held on the night of May 5.

On May 2, all participants of the next round in the Eastern Conference were determined. Carolina and Washington will play against each other, as well as Toronto and Florida.
