Trump posted a photo in the image of the Pope

US President Donald Trump has posted a photo of himself as the pope. Trump posted the corresponding frame on May 3 on the Truth Social network.
In the photo, the head of state is sitting on a gilded throne, while he is dressed in a white cassock. A large golden cross can be seen on Trump's chest, and on his head is a Catholic mitre, which is a symbol of a laurel wreath.
The index finger of the President of the United States is raised up in the image, and there is a ring on the ring finger. It can be assumed that this piece of jewelry is a fisherman's ring, which is a papal ring.
At the same time, Trump did not write any text to the image. Before that, the US president had already joked that he would like to become pontiff.
Pope Francis died at the age of 89 on the morning of April 21 as a result of a cerebral stroke. He last appeared in public on the balcony of St. Peter's Basilica during Easter celebrations on April 20. As previously reported, the pontiff has been struggling with bilateral pneumonia for a long time.
