Four people died due to a fire in Nyazepetrovsk, Chelyabinsk region

Four people died due to a fire in a private apartment building in the city of Nyazepetrovsk, Chelyabinsk region. This was announced on May 3 by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region in the Telegram channel.

"Units of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations promptly arrived at the scene. 12 firefighters and three pieces of equipment took part in the extinguishing. <...> During the dismantling of the structures, the bodies of four victims were found," the ministry said in details.

It is specified that all the victims were adults. Subsequently, firefighters were able to localize and extinguish the fire on an area of 70 square meters. m.

The explosion of a gas cylinder could be the cause of a large-scale fire.

Earlier, on May 2, a fire broke out in a partially resettled apartment building in Primorye, in which a pensioner died. The fire was extinguished on an area of 300 sq. m. Upon the arrival of firefighters, the roof of the house and two apartments were on fire.
