An American girl, Luna Fenner, with a rare pathology in the form of a birthmark resembling a "Batman mask", returned to St. Petersburg with her family to continue treatment. Footage of the Moon's arrival at the airport on May 3 is published by Izvestia.

"She's really looking forward to this operation, she wants to finish it all as soon as possible, finish other parts of her face, I think... She's happy," said Carol Fenner, the girl's mother.

The course of treatment is expected to be 2.5 months. It will take place in a private clinic.

Luna was born with a rare pathology. She was diagnosed with melanocytic nevus of the face, a birthmark that can lead to skin cancer. In the USA, doctors could not help the girl, a few years ago, doctors from Krasnodar took over the treatment. In April 2024, the Fenner family arrived in St. Petersburg to continue their treatment.

At the same time, the girl's mother told Izvestia that one of the factors of treatment in Russia was the price: it turned out to be much cheaper than in the United States. In this case, you can choose non-aggressive therapy so that the child experiences less pain. On January 22, the girl's mother announced her return to St. Petersburg in defiance of the sanctions.
