In Barnaul, a five-year-old girl fell from a balcony on the fifth floor, she was hospitalized with injuries of varying severity. This was announced on Saturday, May 3, by the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Altai Territory.

Upon the incident, a check was launched on the grounds of a crime under Article 118 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing serious harm to health by negligence").

Previously, on May 2, the girl was left alone in the apartment while her mother went to the store. The child, being on the balcony, climbed onto a chair and fell out of the open window.

"During the inspection, UK investigators will have to establish all the circumstances of the incident," the agency said in a Telegram channel post.
