Israeli army aircraft carried out air strikes on three Syrian provinces — Damascus, Hama and Deraa. This was reported on May 3 by Syria TV.
"The number of airstrikes in areas adjacent to the capital Damascus has increased to seven, including the districts of Al-Kiswa and Tal Mnin," the TV channel said.
During the attack, eyewitnesses reported powerful sounds of explosions that coincided with the passage of Israeli aircraft. Two airstrikes were also carried out on the town of Izraa in the rural area of Daraa in southern Syria.
On May 2, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced attacks on targets near the presidential palace in Damascus, Syria. It is specified that the attack was carried out on a plot of land on the territory of the presidential palace.
On April 30, a member of the Syrian security forces was killed in an Israeli drone strike on the village of Sahnaya in Damascus province. In total, 13 people were killed as a result of the Israeli attack on the village of Sahnaya in the suburbs of Damascus.
