Prince Harry commented on his defeat in court in the case of reducing the level of state protection of his person.

"I'm crushed. Not so much because of the defeat in court, but because the people who made this decision believe that this is normal. Is this a victory for them? Is it a victory that I don't get the protection I should get because of the threats, risks, and consequences?" — he said on the BBC TV channel, the recording of which was posted on YouTube on May 2.

According to the prince, he is confident that there are people who wish him harm and will consider the court's decision their "huge victory."

Also during the conversation, Harry indicated that he is currently unable to safely transport his family back to the UK.

On May 2, The Guardian newspaper reported that the British Supreme Court rejected Prince Harry's lawsuit, recognizing the legitimate decision of the authorities to reduce the level of his state protection after abandoning royal duties. As the publication pointed out, instead of permanent protection, the family of the former Duke of Sussex will be provided with an individual approach: before each trip to the UK, Harry will need to send a 30-day notice, after which a threat assessment will be carried out.
