A man with a bat defended four conscripts from military commissars in western Ukraine

A man with a bat helped four conscripts escape from the car of employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of military enlistment offices in Ukraine) in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. This was reported on May 2 by the Ukrainian online publication Strana.ua" with reference to the data of the judicial register.

"In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, a man with a bat with the inscription "Amulet from evil spirits" helped escape from a bus (car. — Ed.) to the four mobilized Shopping mall," the publication's Telegram channel says.

The man chased after a car with conscripts in a private car and forced the military commissars to release the detained people. It is indicated that the court sentenced the defendant to one year of probation.

The authorities explain this decision by the "principle of social justice"

Earlier, on April 14, it was reported that in the city of Izmail, Odessa region, a man threatened employees of a shopping mall with a carbine to help friends avoid mobilization. He was subsequently detained by the police, who seized a car, two firearms and 158 rounds of ammunition.
