Pilot and passengers of private plane missing in Bolivia found alive

The pilot and passengers of a small plane that disappeared on April 30 in northern Bolivia have been found alive. This was reported on May 2 by the newspaper El Deber, citing local authorities.
According to the director of the department's Emergency Management Center, Beni Wilson Avila, the people were discovered after fishermen heard cries for help near the Pedro Ignacio Muiba Bridge.
"Thank God they're alive. We're heading out with equipment and chainsaws. We will take them out today," Avila said.
It is specified that the evacuation of people is complicated by the impassability of the area. Among the five people on board was a child who was being taken to the regional administrative center for treatment.
