A teenage motorcyclist was killed in an accident with a truck in the Novosibirsk region.

An accident involving a motorcycle and a truck occurred in the Toguchinsky district of the Novosibirsk region, and a 15-year-old motorcyclist was killed. This was announced on May 2 by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred around 17:00 (13:00 Moscow time) in the village of Gorny.

"Teenager <....> wearing a motorcycle helmet, driving a Koye T125 motorcycle without a registration number <...."at an unregulated intersection, he collided with a passing GAZ-53B truck, <...> which was making a right turn," the department's Telegram channel said.

A young motorcyclist was killed in the collision.

Traffic police officers and investigators are working at the scene of the accident, and the circumstances of the accident are being established. According to Veniamin Ognev, commander of the traffic police department of the Toguchi district, the teenager had previously failed to maintain a safe distance.
