The SBU announced the detention of the son of the ex-president of Motor Sich in Monaco

Alexander Boguslaev, the son of Vyacheslav Boguslaev, the former president of the Ukrainian Motor Sich plant, was detained in Monaco on suspicion of embezzlement of the company's assets. This was reported on May 2 by the online newspaper Strana.ua" with reference to the statement of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

According to investigators, the father and son deliberately lowered the value of shares in a state-owned enterprise, bought a controlling stake, and then transferred their son to offshore companies.

"They were then sold to foreign companies, and the profits were used to purchase luxury real estate in the EU," the online publication's Telegram channel says.

It is specified that Vyacheslav Boguslaev has been in jail since 2022.

In Ukraine, on January 21, four former heads of the Kyivtransparkservice utility company of the Kiev State City Administration (KSCA) were detained on suspicion of embezzlement. As a result of the fraud, more than $547.2 thousand, which drivers used to pay for parking their cars, did not get into the account of the utility company.
