This year, Moscow students have won a record number of diplomas at the All-Russian School Olympiad. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his Telegram channel.

More than 3,000 students from the capital's schools participated in the final of the Olympiad, 1,000 more than in the past.

"The national team of the capital has 332 diplomas of winners and 1531 of prize—winners. 34 Muscovites were recognized as the absolute winners. 111 members of our national team have won diplomas in two or more subjects. For the first time, more than half of the capital's educational institutions have trained the winners and prize—winners of the Olympiad, and this year the number of schools has increased to 277," said the mayor of the capital.

The All—Russian School Olympiad is the most prestigious and most widespread school intellectual competition in the country. Her diplomas are valid for four years and give graduates the right to enroll in any Russian university without exams or get 100 points on the Unified State Exam in a specialized subject. Sergei Sobyanin congratulated the participants of the Olympiad and the teachers, wishing them further success.
