- Miroshnik pointed to the violent reaction of the Kiev authorities due to the peacekeeping initiatives of the Russian Federation.

Russia's peacekeeping initiatives are provoking a strong reaction from the Kiev authorities. This was stated on May 2 by the Ambassador-at-large of the Russian Foreign Ministry for crimes of the Kiev regime Rodion Miroshnik.
He recalled that as a result of the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on May 1, nine civilians were killed in the Russian border regions, and 41 more people were injured.
"Kiev's peacekeeping initiatives of Russia cause hysteria and result in crimes against civilians," Miroshnik wrote on his Telegram channel.
The Ambassador added that not a single crime of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against civilians will go unpunished, both for the perpetrators and for those behind these actions.
The day before, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a market in Alyoshki, Kherson region. The governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo, said that seven people were killed as a result of the Ukrainian attack.
Later, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, clarified that the death toll from the attack had increased to eight people, and 20 victims were also known. She called the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike barbaric and inhumane. According to her, the Ukrainian militants deliberately fired at the waves in order to finish off the victims and interfere with the work of rescuers.
The deputy chairman of the regional government, Serey Cherevko, clarified that about 30 drones took part in the strike. Three days of mourning were declared in the Alyoshka municipal district.
