The Moscow Meshchansky court has opened a criminal case on treason against a Russian man named Silaev. Information about the entry into force of the decision on May 1 was published on the website of the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the capital.

As indicated in the card, the case against Silaev V. was registered on April 30. We are talking about the choice of a preventive measure in the form of detention under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("High treason").

Details about the identity of the person involved and the nature of the crime were not disclosed.

On April 24, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation announced that Yulia Mosyazh, a resident of the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR), who sheltered two militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in her apartment, would be tried for treason. The regional Prosecutor's office has approved a criminal indictment against the woman.
