4.3 magnitude earthquake recorded in Dagestan

An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 was recorded in the Kizilyurt region of Dagestan. This was announced on May 2 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the republic.

It is specified that at 06:05 the head of the seismic station of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) reported that at 05:49 an earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km.

"There were no casualties or damage on the surface," the Ministry of Emergency Situations said on its website.

On April 26, four earthquakes were recorded in the territory of the Republic of Crimea. Of these, one occurred in the Black Sea, at a distance of 90 km from Yalta, and the other three occurred on land near the Uchan-Su waterfall. The most powerful tremors belong to the energy class of 8.4 and have a magnitude of 2.3.
