A man born in 1983 was detained in the Krasnoyarsk Territory for the unauthorized launch of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). This was announced on May 2 by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region in the Telegram channel.
"The man's actions are considered offenses under Part 1 of Article 11.4 of the Administrative Code "Violation of the rules for the use of airspace" and Part 5 of Article 11.5 of the Administrative Code "Violation of the rules for the safety of aircraft operation." He faces a fine of 20 to 50 thousand rubles," the department said.
Subsequently, the man explained that he wanted to make a photo plan from the air to perform geodetic work. He was aware of the illegality of his actions, but decided to "act at his own risk."
Law enforcement officers are conducting a check on the incident. The UAV launched into the air was seized from the owner.
