Investigators have compiled an alleged sketch of a man whose skull was discovered in a forest last fall in Sakhalin in the village of Sanatorium. The corresponding photos were published on Friday, May 2, by the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Sakhalin region.

"Through verification measures and expert studies, it has been established that the discovered skull belongs to a Caucasian man, whose estimated age at the time of death could have been 26-40 years old," the agency said in a Telegram post.

They added that the man had a slight curvature of the back of his nose to the left, as well as an asymmetry in the height of the nasal wings.

Citizens who know anything about the person depicted in the pictures are asked to contact the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region.

On March 21, it was reported that the staff of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Primorsky Territory established the circumstances of the murder of an elderly woman in 2010. It was established that the suspect entered the pensioner's apartment under false pretenses in order to kill the woman and steal the money he needed to buy drugs from the apartment. However, the attacker did not find the money, so he was forced to remove the gold jewelry from the corpse.
