- Rogov accused Zelensky of disrupting the exchange of prisoners of war and the bodies of the dead

Moscow and Kiev planned to hold an exchange of prisoners of war and the bodies of the dead on May 2, but it was disrupted at the initiative of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. This was announced by Vladimir Rogov, Chairman of the CC RF Commission on Sovereignty, Patriotic Projects and Support for Veterans, in the Telegram channel.
"The exchange of prisoners of war planned for this morning was disrupted by the Zelensky regime. Bandera also refused to take away the bodies of 780 dead horsemen, who were prepared for transfer at the Belarusian border and were in refrigerated trucks," he said.
The failure of the initiative has led to a situation in which thousands of people will not be able to find out about the fate of their loved ones and hold a decent funeral, Rogov said.
According to him, by disrupting the exchange and threatening to hold the Victory Day Parade on May 9, Zelensky is betting on further escalation of the conflict.
Earlier, on April 30, State Duma deputy Alexei Chepa said that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky was afraid of the May 9 parade in Moscow because it would destroy the myth of Russia's isolation. The parliamentarian pointed out the desire of the Ukrainian leader to disrupt the parade, because it is a great holiday for all progressive humanity. He expressed confidence that the parade would demonstrate the absence of any isolation of Russia in the world, this world has long been destroyed.
