Calculations of Hyacinth-S self-propelled guns destroyed armored vehicles and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Crews of 152 mm 2S5 Hyacinth-S self-propelled guns destroyed armored vehicles, manpower and firepower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) during combat operations in the Sumy region in the special military operation zone. This was announced on May 2 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"Significant losses are inflicted on the enemy. The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to lose manpower, tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armored combat vehicles, engineering vehicles, vehicles and artillery pieces," the ministry said.

It is specified that the calculations received data on targets after conducting aerial reconnaissance. After that, precise strikes were made at the marked coordinates.

As a result of the interaction of gunners and military personnel of the North group of forces, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are forced to retreat to more distant positions, which prevents them from shelling areas of the Kursk region.

"Without exaggeration, the calculations consider their guns to be a sniper rifle among artillery weapons. Hyacinth hits accurately, and without adjustment, it can hit a target, even a moving one," the Defense Ministry concluded.

According to the Russian president, conditions have now appeared for further successful actions by our troops in other sectors of the front.

Earlier, on May 1, the press service of the department reported that the UAV operators of the Vostok group of forces destroyed the Akatsiya self-propelled guns belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Yuzhnodonets direction of the special military operation zone. According to the Ministry of Defense, enemy equipment was discovered during aerial reconnaissance.
