In the Kemerovo region, as a result of rescue operations after an incident with the release of water with clay into the face at the Sheregeshskaya mine, the body of a man without signs of life was found under the rubble. This was announced on May 2 by the press service of the Investigative Committee (IC) for the region.
"As part of the investigation, witnesses are being questioned, technological documentation is being seized, and necessary examinations are being appointed," the department said.
Currently, rescuers and employees of the Investigative Committee are continuing to work at the site.
On April 30, the Prosecutor's office of the Kemerovo Region announced that an inspection was being carried out on the fact that clay was leaking into the rollback at the Sheregeshskaya mining mine in the Tashtagolsky municipal District. A criminal case has been opened under Article 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of industrial safety requirements for hazardous production facilities"). The results of the audit have been taken under control.
Earlier, on April 15, a rock collapse occurred in the Sadkinskaya mine, located in the Rostov region. At the time of the collapse, there were about 75 workers in the mine. They were brought to the surface in satisfactory condition.
