Famous Spanish football fan Manuel Caceres Artecero has died.

On Thursday, May 1, Manuel Caceres Artesero, a famous fan and supporter of the Spanish national football team, passed away. This was reported by the Football Espana publication.

The man was a prominent representative of the fans of the national team and had the nickname "Manolo with a drum." In total, he attended 18 international tournaments with Spain — 10 World Championships and eight European Championships.

Manolo has given regular interviews during every trip to Spain and has often guided Spanish fans in their support, most recently attending the Nations League quarterfinals at the Mestalla Stadium.

A few days ago, a football fan was hospitalized due to breathing problems.

"One of our most loyal fans, who always accompanied us through sorrow and joy, has passed away," the Spanish national team announced on the social network page X (Ex. Twitter).
