MP Belik called Zelensky's threats a refusal to observe the truce

Threats by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to strike at Russia's more "painful" points demonstrate the refusal to observe the truce, timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This was announced on Thursday, May 1, by Dmitry Belik, a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation from Sevastopol, a member of the International Affairs Committee.
"Zelensky's threats have clearly shown that he is not going to observe the truce on May 9," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
At the same time, according to the deputy, with such provocative statements, the head of the Kiev regime is trying to compensate for the bad state of affairs for Ukraine on the line of contact.
The day before, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, said that the Ukrainian leader and his entourage were undermining peace efforts. She pointed out that Zelensky not only makes extremist statements, but also boasts of them as a "classic terrorist."
