Junior Sergeant Galin repaired the repeater damaged during the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Junior Sergeant Alexander Vasilyev commanded the tank crew during the assault on the fortifications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of the special military operation (SVO). The Russian Defense Ministry on Friday, May 2, reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen.

During the battle, Vasiliev received the task of defeating enemy manpower hidden in the forest belt. The junior sergeant immediately opened fire, which made it possible to destroy a machine-gun emplacement, a strong point and a significant part of the enemy's personnel. As a result of Vasiliev's professional actions, Russian attack aircraft were able to dislodge the Ukrainian Armed Forces from their strongholds and gain a foothold on new frontiers.

At the same time, the Russian Defense Ministry noted the courageous and selfless actions of Junior Sergeant Rafael Galin, who ensured uninterrupted and stable communication in the battalion tactical group of the Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces).

The retreating formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted mortar shelling of the territories, as a result, the repeater was damaged. Realizing the need to restore communication between the Russian units as soon as possible, Galin personally moved to the site of the damage, despite the continued fire from the enemy. As a result, the connection was restored as soon as possible.

According to the Russian president, conditions have now appeared for further successful actions by our troops in other sectors of the front.

Earlier, on May 1, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that Corporal Alexei Sidorenko was on combat duty in the area of one of the settlements liberated by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of the SVO when he noticed an enemy kamikaze drone approaching Russian positions.
