Three trucks collided on the federal highway M-7 Volga in Bashkiria, two men were trapped and injured. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

It is specified that the accident occurred between the villages of Layashty, Ilishevsky district and Asyanovo, Dyurtyuli district. The cars collided one after the other, like a steam train.

"As a result of the accident, the driver and passenger were trapped in the truck, which was the last one. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the State Emergency Committee of the Republic of Belarus extracted the victims using hydraulic tools," the department's Telegram channel says.

The men were taken to the hospital, they are in serious condition. The section of the highway where the accident occurred was cordoned off with a traffic stop, while there is a detour.
