Honored Artist of Russia Irina Kostrova died at the age of 103. This was announced on May 1 by Ilya Bachurin, General Director of Mosconcert.

"Irina Vasilyevna, my love, is incredibly thin and beautiful! Goodbye! We remember, we love, we look up to you," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

The cause of the artist's death is unknown. Kostrova's farewell will take place on May 4 at 12:00 in the Moscow Concert Hall.

Irina Kostrova worked at the Railway Theater under the direction of Maria Knebel, as well as at Lenkom and the Taganka Theater. Throughout her career, the actress has starred in such productions as "Thunderstorm", "Stepmother", "Treachery and Love", "Optimistic Tragedy" and "Noble Nest".
