A man who ran over a group of schoolchildren in Osaka, Japan, confessed during interrogation that he had done it intentionally. This was reported on May 1 by the NHK TV channel.
It is specified that the man was detained after the incident.
"I hated everything, so I rushed into the car I was driving to kill people," the detainee's words are quoted in the publication.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
It became known about a car hitting a group of schoolchildren in Japan earlier that day. As a result of the incident, seven people were injured and taken to a medical facility. Six of them are conscious, and the condition of another one is being clarified.
