A native of one of the Central Asian countries was deprived of Russian citizenship for an ethnic conflict in Lipetsk. This was announced on May 1 by the FSB's Public Relations Center.

According to the agency, in March 2024, the man received Russian citizenship. In September, he became involved in an ethnic conflict in Lipetsk, expressing the superiority of Islam and insulting Russian citizens, threatening physical violence and showing a knife.

As a result of the detention by the FSB and the Interior Ministry, the defendant was brought to administrative responsibility and arrested for seven days.

"The foreigner has been deported to the country of origin. By the decision of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Lipetsk region, he was banned from entering Russia for a period of 50 years," the FSB Central Control Center said in a statement.

On April 22, at the initiative of the FSB of the Russian Federation, stand-up comedians Vyacheslav Komissarenko and Dmitry Romanov were stripped of their Russian citizenship. The actions of these individuals pose a threat to Russia's national security. In addition, Komissarenko and Romanov were banned from entering the Russian Federation.

On February 4, the State Security Committee (KGB) of Belarus included Komissarenko in the list of persons involved in terrorism. Before that, on January 24, he was added to the list of extremists in Belarus.
