Two people were killed in a fire at an enterprise in Tashkent.
A fire in a sintepon production shop occurred in the Yakkasaray district of the capital of Uzbekistan, killing two people. This was announced on May 1 by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic.
It is specified that the message about the fire in the sintepon production shop was received by the Emergency Department on the same day at 7:01 (05:01 Moscow time).
"Fire and rescue units arrived at the scene at 07:04 (05:04 Moscow time. — Ed.), the fire was localized at 07:45 (05:45 Moscow time. — Ed.), and was extinguished at 08:09 (06:09 Moscow time. — Ed.)", — stated in the Telegram channel of the department.
During the inspection of the scene, firefighters found the bodies of two victims. Five victims were also taken to the hospital.
The fire damaged the roof, ceiling and products of the facility on an area of about 700 square meters. m. According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire was a malfunction in the technological process. The Ministry of Emergency Situations noted that a preliminary investigation is underway.
On April 30, a fire broke out at a clothing market in the center of Tbilisi. No one was injured in the incident. Patients from a nearby clinic were also evacuated. The causes of the fire in the market are unknown. The fire was eliminated, 30 fire brigades participated in extinguishing the fire.
