Two people died in a fire in Tomsk.


In Tomsk, a fire broke out in a one-story apartment building, killing two people. This was announced on Thursday, May 1, by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
"A man (75 years old) and a woman (65 years old) They died in a fire on Moskovsky Trakt Street in Tomsk. The fire occurred in a one—story wooden apartment building," follows from the publication of the department in Telegram.
It is specified that the fire area was 20 square meters. m. The fire was eliminated by 27 firefighters with the help of eight pieces of equipment.

Earlier, on April 27, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported a fire in residential buildings in the village of Taezhnoye, Krasnoyarsk Territory. More than 70 people and 16 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the region later added that the fire area in the village of Taiga had grown to 900 square meters. On April 29, it became known that the arsonist was a 45-year-old resident who was trying to heat the water supply.
