In the Kherson region, military personnel of the Airborne Troops unit from the Dnepr group of forces conducted a lesson of courage for schoolchildren. This was announced on Thursday, May 1, by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It is specified that the paratroopers communicated with schoolchildren about the exploits of Russian servicemen and civilians on the front line and in the rear. The military and teenagers also discussed the reassessment of the value system that is currently taking place.

"The guards conducted a medical training session with the guys, showed them the weapons and equipment of military personnel participating in a special military operation," the ministry said.

Thanks to the lesson of courage, all its participants could test themselves in first aid, including the correct application of a tourniquet. The students tried on radiation, chemical and biological protection equipment. And the most interesting experience for children was the opportunity to practice flying an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

Earlier, on April 14, the Moscow Mayor's portal reported that the capital's schools and the Mosvolonter team were actively helping participants in a special military operation and residents of new and border regions of the country with various humanitarian aid.
