The crew of the Su-35s multirole thrust vector fighter of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) completed the task of escorting the bombers of the Center group of forces in the area of a special military operation (SVO). This was announced on May 1 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"A Su-34 multifunctional supersonic fighter-bomber, accompanied by a Su-35c fighter, took off from their home airfield and bombed a stronghold and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces of Ukraine. — Ed.)," the department clarified.

After completing the combat mission, the entire aviation group successfully returned to its home airfield.

"Tactical aviation pilots carry out combat sorties at any time, in any weather conditions, with various types of aircraft weapons," the Defense Ministry noted.
