Washington and Kiev have signed an agreement on Ukraine's natural resources. This was announced on Wednesday, April 30, by US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

"Thanks to the tireless efforts of President [of the United States Donald] I am pleased to announce the signing of today's historic economic partnership agreement between the United States and Ukraine, establishing a Fund for investments in the reconstruction of the United States and Ukraine," he said on the agency's website.
