A massive brawl broke out in Saratov during an NHL match

On April 30, a mass brawl between hockey players and fans took place in Saratov during the National Hockey Youth League (NHL) playoff match between the Saratov club Kristall and Granit near Moscow.

In total, six Granit players and one Kristall athlete were sent off, and their total penalty was 170 minutes, Sport-Express clarifies.

It all started when one of the members of the Moscow region hockey club attacked the goalkeeper of the opponent Egor Basket. Then the scuffle began. It is noteworthy that the fight broke out just a few minutes before the end of the meeting.

The game ended with a score of 7:3 in favor of the hosts.

Earlier, on March 16, a mass brawl took place in Khimki near Moscow between fans of Dynamo-2 and Kaluga football clubs. It was previously established that a verbal altercation took place between two groups of men, which provoked a fight.
