In the Shapokovsky district of the Stavropol Territory, when two cars collided, one driver was killed and another was injured. This was announced on Wednesday, April 30, by the press service of the Regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

According to the agency, at 19:20 (local time, coincides with Moscow time), the 18-year-old driver of a LADA 2105 car drove into the oncoming lane, colliding with a LADA Vesta.

"As a result of a car accident, the 18-year—old driver of a LADA 2105 car died from his injuries at the scene," the press service said in a Telegram post.

It is specified that the deceased received a driver's license last year. During this time, he was involved in traffic violations three times. A medical examination is currently underway to determine the victim's state of intoxication.

The second 35-year-old participant in the accident was taken to the hospital.
