The Basmanny Court of Moscow has arrested nine more defendants who stole money from participants of a special military operation (SVO) arriving at Sheremetyevo Airport. This was announced on April 30 by the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the capital.

"The decisions of the Basmanny District Court of Moscow satisfied the petitions of the investigation to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention in respect of each of the [nine] defendants," the Telegram channel said.

It is specified that he has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of two months.

Earlier that day, the court arrested six defendants who stole money from the participants of the SVO arriving at Sheremetyevo Airport. It is specified that the defendants stole money by committing theft, extortion and fraudulent actions. Later it became known that Alexey Kabochkin was arrested, whom the investigation considers to be the organizer of the criminal group.
