Russian President Vladimir Putin has done a lot for Russia, as well as for schoolchildren. Egor Nazarov, a 13-year-old member of the KitezH search team and a member of the unarmee, told Izvestia about this on April 30 after the Russian leader's speech at the federal educational marathon "Knowledge. The First Ones" at the Victory Museum in Moscow.

"I thanked him [President Putin] for mentioning search engines, as our work often remains in the shadows, but we do hard work. I thanked the president for mentioning us, for what time we live in now, for our country, for supporting us, the schoolchildren," he shared.

The young man also noted the attitude of the presentation to the participants of the "Movement of the First", "Unarmia", young volunteers and search engines. In addition, Nazarov clarified that his desire to be a soldier appeared spontaneously.

"It turned out that no one in my family is a military man. My desire to become one appeared when a paratrooper came to work at my dad's car repair shop. Then he came to our school on September 1, I saw him in uniform, I learned his story: about how he fought in Afghanistan. Well, we're not just talking about heroes of the Great Patriotic War, are we? All the heroes are those who defended our country in any place! I got into his story, and I began to understand how important and necessary it is to protect our homeland," the teenager believes.

Nazarov also spoke about his interest in the history of the Great Patriotic War (WWII). According to the 13-year-old unarmee, keeping history and loving it is also a help for the Russian state. He stated that he would continue to share and study the events of the past years.

On the opening day, more than 10,000 young people attended the educational event.

As part of a meeting with participants of the educational marathon "Knowledge. First," the president touched upon many aspects. In particular, he pointed out that the work of the heroes of the special military operation (SVO) with the youth of Russia is extremely important. The Head of State specified that such measures will increase trust and understanding on the part of the younger generation, who will transmit this information and honor the history of their country.
